Youth Programs

Recreational School Age Program

Throughout the school year, CFAC Child & Youth Programs offers free recreational programs for ages K5 - age 12 that highlight the five Navy CYP Core Programs: Health and Wellness, the Arts, Education & STEM, Leadership & Service, and Sports & Recreation. It is important to note that on “School Day Outs,” the CYP also offers hourly care services for school-aged participants. During the Winter, Spring, and Summer Breaks, the Recreational School Age Program does not operate, as the facility conducts full-time custodial care camps for ages K5-12.

If you would like to enroll your child in weekly camps, please request care on the website.

Teen Programs

CFAC Child & Youth Programs provide targeted teen programs based off of interests and trends that may include lock-ins, field trips, and recreational activities.  The Teen Room is located within the CYP building and accessible to teens on “School Day Outs” and School Breaks during marketed operational hours. The majority of the recreational activities are FREE and activities that require a fee are most often applied to trips and teen lock-ins.

Youth Sponsorship

As you prepare to transition to a new country and duty station, it is important to consider the challenges that our youth may face as they transition to a new school. Youth Sponsorship helps to connect children moving to new locations with children that are already there. This enables youth to make a smooth transition and be able to know at least one person when they arrive.

If you would like your child(ren) in grades 6-12 to have a Youth Sponsor, please fill out the short form in the Downloads section with your student(s), and email the completed form to
